The plan
Vlietland is ready for a fresh impulse. Together with other parties and government bodies we developed a comprehensive plan based on the core values of luxury, comfort, natural design and outdoor living. Nature is our guide during the development of this project. The new homes and facilities can adapt in order to create a special balance in which residents can enjoy their leisure time and relax in a unique way. Thanks to the metamorphosis, Vlietland will continue to be one of the most popular recreational areas in the Netherlands for many years to come.

One of the most attractive
water sports and recreation
areas of the Netherlands
‘KondorWessels Vastgoed and DGI are reputable companies which are widely admired for their innovative and sustainable development and construction method and the attractive way they incorporate their creations into the landscape. The construction of these holiday homes and other new recreational facilities will ensure that Vlietland will have the reputation, even more than it already did so, of being the most attractive water sports and recreation areas of the Netherlands!’
Homes and other facilities
Dutch Lake Residence Vlietland includes, among other things, the development of no fewer than 222 holiday homes, both sustainable design cabins and spacious holiday villas, of which the majority are located at the water’s edge and each have their own jetty. The leisure facilities are also going to be appreciably expanded to include new elements ranging from cycling paths and footpaths to new beaches and from new restaurants to a berth for a historic ship and a sightseeing boat.
The holiday homes and facilities are coordinated in such a way that residents can enjoy their privacy while still having plenty of space for socialising. All this can help create a community of residents that makes Dutch Lake Residence a place where people are keen to spend time.

December 2019 - Start of plan development
December 2019Dutch Lake Residence has started developing the Vlietland recreation area. With this in mind, the company, which is a partnership between KondorWessels Vastgoed (VolkerWessels) and DGI Ventures, concluded a contract of sale with Vlietland B.V. last summer. The green and water-rich area covering well over 22 hectares is in a central location between Leiden, The Hague and Wassenaar. This area development will enable Vlietland to develop, within just a couple of years, into one of the most diverse and attractive recreation areas of the Netherlands.
